"Life is a song--sing it. Life is a game--play it. Life is a challenge--meet it. Life is a dream--realize it. Life is love--enjoy it."

There is not much development in these parts (yet!), so expect tranquility and simple pleasures.  We don’t have a pool because the sea is at our doorstep and often the water is so clear and still, we think a pool would feel embarrassed to be seen at the same party. We do recommend for the adventurous, renting a motorbike from one of our staff and exploring the island. Surrounding us are deserted beaches, coral reefs, a protected forest and lively fishing villages. Whatever you do, take us up on the free kayak because from our front door, you can be at Fingernail Island within 20 minutes and enjoy great snorkeling right off a sandy beach.

We have snorkels, yoga mats, books and a guitar for you to borrow. There’s a pool table and board games, too.  We often host movie nights in the common area, and a “Punch Hour”, where we pour a boozy drink or three for our guests (on the house, of course), invite our English speaking staff, and encourage exchanging of stories and sharing of culture.

If you can bear to leave, the main town is a scenic 40-minute ride away, and we are happy to assist you with arrangements for diving trips, motorbike tours, etc. to areas of the island near and far.

“This is the real secret of life -- to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.” Alan Watts

On the beach or in your room, you can get a Swedish or Traditional Vietnamese massage.  We also regularly host wellness retreats and classes, such as yoga and tai chi. If you have a wellness offering that you are interested to share, please contact us.  We love to host retreats, and are always open to discussing exchanges with yoga teachers, etc.

"We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing."  George Bernard Shaw

You can also find beach chairs and hammocks for lounging, sunning, reading, and napping. They are also good for: listening to yourself think, saying what’s in your heart, and understanding, perhaps like never before, the answers to the questions you have been meaning to ask.
