The weather is almost always sublime everyday. No rain, lots of sunshine, low humidity, and lovely consistent breezes. Days are clear and picture perfect (25-28 Celsius; 77-82 Fahrenheit). Nights are sometimes chilly enough to wear a light sweater. This is holiday time. Christmas, New Year’s, Tet. Rooms during this time are usually booked far in advance.

The weather is consistently lovely during these months. Little chance of rain, though it can be warmer and more humid during the day, increasingly so at the edges of this season (i.e. November + May), nights tend to be warmer than during High Season months. ~April 27-May 5 is Vietnam's "Reunification Day" weekend and our rooms tend to be booked in advance.

These months tend to be on the hot and humid side, and depending on your luck, you might get rain. Generally, July and August are warm and humid. October is less so, and is also less likely to have rain. In recent years, due to climate change, it is very unpredictable what days / weeks will have rain. Online weather reports for Phu Quoc can be deceiving around this time because most reports will show rain on most days, however sometimes the rain is only at night or only for short bursts, with still mostly sunny skies; other times it can rain heavily all day long. Weather conditions during these months are similar to our Shoulder Season, however this tends to be a quieter time at Bamboo Cottages and we usually operate with a smaller staff than in other months. (This is when our staff takes turns getting their much deserved vacation time!) Our rooms are most affordable during this season, and if you like a lot of peace and quiet, this is the time to come.
